Brand Luxe Bundles Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What type of shampoo/ conditioner should I use?
A: Just because the hair is not your own doesn’t mean you should not treat it as such. It is suggested using high quality sulfate free moisturizing or detangling shampoo and conditioner. Products such as Creme of Nature, Organix,, Garnier Fructis and silicon mix work well with virgin hair. Also consider deep conditioning the hair during or prior to installation with a hydrating/moisturizing conditioner.
Q: What styling products and instruments can I use on the Hair?
A: You can style this hair the same as you would your own natural hair. You can use flat irons, curling irons, rollers/flexi rods, mousse, hairspray, moisturizing creme, etc. However, remember hair products will leave build up and residue which can decrease longevity and hair performance. Likewise, high heat will change the curl/wave pattern of your extensions. Be sure to consult with your stylist to discuss which products work best.
Q: What products should I not use on this hair?
A: You should refrain from using protein-based products, such as protein-based shampoos or clarifying shampoos. These products can harden the hair making it feel dry.
Q: How often can I wash/shampoo this hair?
A: You can wash/shampoo this hair the same as you'd do your own, natural hair. As often as you like/as necessary.
Q: How long can/should you wear this hair before taking it out/getting a touch-up, etc?
A: This hair can be worn, on average, between 8 -10 weeks, prior to taking it out for a touch up. This hair can be re-used. Average use for most clients ranges between 3-4 installs.
Q: Can the hair be colored?
A: Yes. Do a strand test prior to coloring, and use permanent hair color only.
Q: How long does it take to receive my purchase? And what are the shipping costs?
A: Shipping on orders is typically a $25 flat rate (determined by factory). Since hair is factory direct average shipping is 3-5 business days. Hair that requires additional production ships between 5-7 business days.
Q: How many bundles are recommended ?
A: Shorter lengths (10", 12", and 14") typically require only 2 bundles. Anything longer than 16" may require a third bundle, especially for full sew-ins.
